About our Service:
This is a simple “Swap-out” service; meaning we simply install your ceiling fan where an existing fan or light fixture already exist. We use your existing electrical box with all pertinent wiring in place and make NO changes to your electrical junction OR wiring. We do Not install new electrical boxes, run, or modify any of your wiring as that’s simply not necessary w a “simple” fan replacement.
My Standard Install includes:
- Unpack your new Ceiling Fan
- Check all parts
- Assemble the fan per instructions
- Mount the fan on an existing wired electrical box not exceeding 9ft. in height.
- Test your fan for proper function
- Leave work area clean
*Additional charge for fans with remote control and removing an existing ceiling fan.(add labor required)

CONSUMER WARNINGS:
- Don’t be fooled by Craigslist “handymen” who will do anything to make a buck, where the workmanship may be very poor, literally leaving screws missing in the installation, resulting in your fan being crooked, noisy, or even worse…..ending up on the floor!
It’s always best to “specialize” in something to become truly proficient at it, and this is one of my specialties!
Avoid buying ceiling fans from Amazon and other internet sites. It’s best to stick with name brands such as “Hunter” or “Harbor Breeze,” which can usually be found at Lowe’s and Home Depot. They have a large selection that you can see in person, and if there’s a problem with the fan, they will take it back.
Ceiling fans must be mounted to an electrical box in the ceiling where a fan or light fixture exists. Most electrical boxes can support the weight of a fan, BUT it’s your responsibility to make sure by asking your builder.
